You can bring Christmas joy this holiday season to adults with intellectual disabilities or developmental delays (IDD)
More than 80 adults with IDD live independently with year-round support from The Arc Greater New Orleans. Many of these individuals have limited support from their immediate families, and we are dedicated to bringing them joy this Christmas season.
You can assist in one of two ways:
- By donating to help us purchase and deliver a personalized, thoughtful gift selected specifically for them. To donate, click here
- By providing the following information to The Arc, so you can receive the name and wish list of an SLS resident and then drop off the gift at The Arc of Greater New Orleans. Information needed is: Full name, email address and cell number.

How Your Donation Helps
Your donations help provide services to over 500 families, children, and adults with intellectual disabilities through Early Intervention, Residential Support, Community Integration, and Employment Services throughout the Greater New Orleans region.
EARLY INTERVENTION
Providing guidance, support, and direction to parents of infants and children 0–3 years old.
RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT
Training participants with the necessary skills to live more independently and providing respite to family members.
COMMUNITY INTEGRATION
Operating Community Centers throughout the region that promote independence, self-reliance, and self esteem while focusing on community integration.
EMPLOYMENT SERVICES
Coaching and providing job placement for Participants desiring employment and employing Participants directly through our in-house enterprises.
